Role Purpose
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team responsible for the repair, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of textile machinery, utilities, and facility systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge of textile production equipment, effective leadership, and a focus on minimizing downtime to ensure high-quality, efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct maintenance staff, ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely completion of work.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for textile machinery such as opening, carding, spinning, dyeing, and finishing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensure proper calibration and alignment of equipment to maintain product quality and reduce defects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production equipment to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
  • Maintain accurate logs, work orders, and equipment performance records.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate timely procurement of critical supplies.
  • Enforce compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and internal policies.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff on textile-specific machinery, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve machine efficiency and reliability.
  • Support organizational change initiatives to sustain a stable and efficient operation.
  • Partner with manufacturing leaders to drive effective decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal, environmental, health and safety, and employment regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in electrical engineering preferred.
  • 5–6 years of maintenance experience in textile manufacturing, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of textile production machinery.
  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and team development abilities.
